Welcome to Torus Solutions, where we provide advanced loyalty solutions for large corporations! We are looking for a Senior Java Developer specializing in handling issues related to the logic, data, and functionality of applications/websites.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write code and tests, build prototypes, resolve issues, and analyze performance bottlenecks;
- Design robust APIs to support mobile applications, website operations, and partner integrations;
- Build and deploy CI/CD pipelines;
- Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems on the Cloud;
- Optimize applications to improve performance and scalability;
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure code quality and project deadlines.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Over 5 years of experience in Java Development;
- Experience in writing high-performance and secure RESTful APIs;
- Deep understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment);
- Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot;
- Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL/MariaDB;
- Knowledge of Messaging, Caching, CICD, and Web Services including WSDL, SOAP, and Restful Web Services;
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP;
- Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude;
- Development mindset ready to challenge current limits and focus on innovative ideas and solutions;
- Experience in managing Scrum teams is a plus.
